During the last nine years, 10,000 volunteers have united to
contribute back to their communities utilizing the United We Paint model.
This combined effort has resulted in
the revitalization of 420 homes of individuals and families and 58
schools and community buildings.
The local communities receiving assistance have received more than $3,000,000 of
beautification services.
The homes of low-income seniors, mentally/physically challenged
individuals, and disadvantaged families; public schools; day-care
centers; maternity homes; teen/youth centers; community centers; and
senior recreation facilities have received the benefit of being
selected for beautification by our partners and volunteers.
The true impact cannot be measured in quarts and gallons. Thousands of
volunteers devoted countless hours of energy in transforming these
houses into homes that owners can be
proud of once again.
Schools and community buildings were transformed from eyesores in
their neighborhoods to revitalized, freshly painted buildings that
change the attitudes and outlooks of children, teachers, families,
and seniors.
Current and past companies and organizations contributing financial
and volunteer resources include: LendingTree, Secure Horizons,
California Credit Union, Albertsons,
Home Depot, United Way and many others.
Many TV stations, newspapers, radio stations, and print media
supported these initiatives with feature stories, articles, and PR.
We thank everyone that participated and encourage you to
become involved with United We Paint as we make a difference in our
community. |
